  1. Now

    Most weeks split between the ICU at St. Joe’s and calls with District 19 in Glacier. BeCited is the main project on the side. I paddle when the gauges say so.

  2. 2026 – present

    Founder, rvlz LLC. The company underneath the online work below. Less letters, more leverage.

  3. 2023 – present

    Registered Nurse, ICU, PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center. Critical care nursing. Same instincts as the engine, but slower, and somebody checks your charting.

  4. Feb 2021 – present

    Firefighter / EMT, Whatcom County Fire Districts 14 and 19 (Glacier). Five-plus years of structural fire and 911 EMS in a rural district, now with District 19 out of Glacier. Suppression, patient assessment, medications, transport. A lot of it is radio work and paperwork nobody warns you about.

  5. 2023 – 2025

    Instructor, Remote Medical Training. Taught wilderness and remote medicine. Emergency care for places where the ambulance is a day out.

  6. Fire seasons 2018 – 2023

    Senior Wildland Firefighter, US Forest Service · Washington DNR. Six seasons on hand crews and engines, the last few leading crews. Line construction, burnout, holding, a lot of mop-up. I usually carried the medical side too.

  7. Nov 2020 – Mar 2021

    Emergency Medical Technician, Cascade Ambulance. Private ambulance work. Transports, vitals, charting, and keeping the rig stocked between calls.

  8. Summers 2017 – 2019

    Lead Instructor, Cascadia Adventure Education. Planned and led multi-day wilderness trips for big groups of students. First job where if something went wrong, it was mine.
